The tree pollen season begins late February to early March with peak months March and April. Many of the trees that flower in early spring need certain number of days exposure to warm temperatures before they flower, so the milder the winter, the earlier the onset of pollination.

Tree pollen is the most abundant of all pollens. Predominant tree pollens producing allergic disease include Oak, Hickory, Pecan, Birch, Cedar, Walnut, and Willow.
